If you're like me, there are never enough hours in the day. In our youth obsessed culture, you too can appear more youthful by getting a regular 8 hours sleep a day- it sure beats injecting your face with poison! not to mention the price- sleeping is free....
Why is it important to sleep? I'm sure you are familiar with 'sleeping beauty'.
Your body needs to repair & rejuvenate.
We need Seven to nine hours of sleep (considered optimal) to receive sleep benefits of alertness, memory, problem solving, and overall health. There is even research that shows those who sleep around seven hours a night, longer live longer.
Nothing ages you as fast as sleep deprivation ( or a super hang over). Next time you have a really late night, have a look at your wrinkles - they will appear deeper, your skin finer with dark circles under the eyes.
So aim for at least seven hours sleep - at night to get the maximum benefit from your night cream !
Actually, skin repairs itself best by being cleansed at night to allow skin to breathe free of heavy oils. Just a touch of cream around the eyes is all we really need
