Look up to 10 Years Younger by changing your make up!
Often women over the age of forty begin to apply more foundation in an effort to disguise pigmentation, blemishes, lines the signs of ageing. Using a heavier foundation or applying layers and layers of it only highlights the dryness of skin and makes wrinkles appear deeper. Too much make up under the eyes can emphasize all the fine lines and if too heavy actually cause more lines.
You can look up to 10 years younger by ditching your regular heavy chemical based foundation and switching to a pure mineral make up. Mineral make up contains light deflecting particles which can minimise wrinkles, crows feet, tiny lines and feels so light, its as if your weren’t wearing any makeup at all. It’s a totally new concept for some women as it feels like you are wearing none or very little make up at all, and yet the coverage is far better than any other product you have worn before. Its less is best!
Mineral Make Up has been heavily advertised in the media promoting the coverage aspects of the make up, and the coverage is amazing. One of the many benefits is that it is non-comedogenic, so it allows your skin to breath, it does not block the pores. I would recommend all sensitive skin types only use mineral make up and those with oily skin as it contains no added oils. Mineral makeup is also fantastic for more mature skins, as it is light reflecting and minimises wrinkles and lines. It is also the best makeup to wear if you are a little slack with your skin care regime as you can sleep in it.
Mineral Makeup is makeup made from naturally occurring pigments from the earth. the ingredients are inorganic which means that no preservatives are included and the makeup will last longer as bacteria and microbes cannot live in the makeup and infect the skin. The most economical type of mineral makeup is in a loose powder form, the more it is developed - pressed powder then liquid form at the top of the range. The make up is best applied in powder form using a brush and liquid with fingers or a sponge. (Always wash your hands before applying makeup and never put makeup back into the container as it spreads bacteria. Brushes are best cleansed every few days by cleaning in warm soapy water).
The best mineral makeups contain a number of ingredients designed for the purpose of improving the well-being of the skin, they may include a broad spectrum of UVA and UVB sun protection, zinc, magnesium because it is not chemical based it feels as though you are not wearing makeup. What is interesting to note is that mineral makeup contains a natural sun block which is not added into the formula and is not chemical based. The SPF can range from 8 up to 30. Make sure you check the ingredients so that the makeup contains 100% minerals, some of the cheaper products on the market claim to be mineral based and contain lots of synthetics to the mix, which can act as irritants and dilute the beneficial properties of why you use mineral make up. You want a mineral makeup that does NOT contain Bismuth Oxychloride, as it can cause excess oil production and contributes to large pores. Also avoid talc, because it can irritate your lungs. Look for ingredients such as mica, titanium dioxide, zinc, iron oxides) So check the label!
