How NOT to look 10 Years Older

Sometimes I wish I could stop people in the street to take their photo- but it's so rude!
Today I thought I was walking behind a teenager, with long blond wavy hair, skinny leg jeans, grey converse sneakers, a multi coloured belt, long grey marle tee, but when she turned around she was old enough to be my mother! and I'm 46
My instant thought was 'she has a problem with aging...then why is she wearing her teenage sons clothing?.....
It is challenging once you are over 40, to actually find clothing where the style, colour, texture, fit work for you. Not looking as if you are desperate and think you're still 21, or that your passed your used by date and your wearing your grandmothers outfits!

So dress appropriately for your age, height, weight, personality, environment, climate, but look current as if you actually live in this century.

In our culture of anti aging, where looking old can be seen as a crime....don't feel pressured into keeping up the Mrs Botox and Mr Restalyne's of our world. In my observation, people who regularly use fillers and botox actually end up looking older, apart from the fact that after a few years using these products they start to look really weird!

Celebrate your unique beauty and all the wonderful fine lines that make us interesting, exotic, and one of a kind. True beauty is found not in perfection, but in the so called imperfections...Lips a little too full, beauty moles etc
